Unfortunately, the team threw out their arms prior to the start of the semi-finals. Notwithstanding, the team qualified for the finals before falling to a team that had well understood the advantage of keeping fresh. The hero of the night was Claire Daley who ended up as the sole member of our team facing down such overwhelming odds. Miraculously she won the match by herself with a well placed throw out and brilliant catch of the other team's best player. Congratulations also to Bill Hahn for his heroics in facing down superior forces.
