Robert Reilly is a Senior Associate in the firm’s medical malpractice group. For over fifteen years, he has been involved in civil litigation defense devoting more than ten years of his career as a medical malpractice attorney representing the interests of physicians, surgeons and healthcare facilities in complex medical malpractice matters throughout the New York metropolitan area.
He began his career as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Dan Lamont formally of the New York State Court of Claims and as an Administrative Review Officer for the Sewanhaka Central High School District presiding over appellate hearings pursuant to the New York State Education Law.
Robert is admitted to practice before all the Courts of the State of New York as well as the Southern and Eastern District Courts of New York.
He received his J.D. degree from the Hofstra University School of Law. Prior to law school, he taught high school history while attending New York University where he continued graduate studies after receiving a Master of Arts in European History with Norman F. Cantor, one of the preeminent scholars of medieval history. He is a graduate of Union College in Schenectady, New York with a B.A. degree in history and English.
